The first Wednesday of each month is designated as C.A.R.E. Night at Macedonia. C.A.R.E. is an acronym for “Christians Actively Reaching Everyone.”  On C.A.R.E. Nights we reach out to those in our church family who need encouraging by sending cards, making phone calls, or visiting.  There is also a meal, signup the Sunday prior is required.   

Below are some of the ways we’ve reached out to our community:

• Goodie baskets for teachers in our local schools
•  C.A.R.E. packages to military personnel
• Treats for our local firefighters & law enforcement officers
• Nursing home visits & gifts for residents
• Homebound member visits & gifts
• Road-side litter pick up
• Projects for Hesed House of Hope
• C.A.R.E. packages for College Students and Missionaries

The Outreach team helps to plan and organize community canvassing projects that promote special events and activities sponsored or associated with the various ministries at Macedonia.

The Outreach team plays an integral part in helping to plan and carry-out events designed to touch the community.  Our Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival/Trunk N' Treat are a couple of annual events where this team’s efforts are showcased.

There are a number of special ministry projects that come up throughout the year.  The Outreach team is instrumental in making these opportunities for ministry known to our congregation.  In the past we’ve been able to partner with local church ministries like Christian Ministries of Lincoln County, Hesed House of Hope, Heartbeats Women's Center, and East Lincoln Christian Ministries.
